I am unapologetically awkward and I don’t believe in stress. No really. I don’t. I get giddy excited when I have a new idea for a photo, and I am not afraid of making a total idiot of myself to get someone to laugh. I have been married for 13 years and I have a son in elementary school - I refer to both my husband and son as “my boys” regularly. I have three dogs. They’re crazy.

I started my professional photography journey in 2014, and have been hooked ever since. I primarily focus on families, maternity, and newborns. I am a member of the Texas Professional Photographer’s Association (TPPA) and (aside from my Bachelor’s of Arts) I have taken several courses in photography for lighting, newborn safety, and posing. I am also a NICU mom (30 days at Cooks Children's) where I learned a lot about newborn physiology, health, and wellness. If I didn’t do this, I think I’d probably be a doula.

I have been published in Voyage Dallas, the San Francisco Chronicle, and UpScale Living Magazine, but one of my favorite accomplishments is (and I’m hoping I don’t jinx it - because hey, trolls) is a 5-star rating on my facebook page from more than 100 clients.

Photography is my second job, my first being an advisor in corporate America (which I think surprises a LOT of people - because I'm ridiculous 99% of the time) but I've been there since 2011 and they keep me around, so I must be doing something right!
